The David B. Weigle Information Commons at Penn’s Van Pelt Library presents the
second annual global-engagement event STUDENT EXPERIENCES ABROAD.
When: Thurs., Jan. 31, 2008 (6:00-8:00 p.m.)
Where: Van Pelt Library’s Weigle Information Commons
Cost: free of charge
Description:
Students will present on their own experiences in other countries.
This will be an informal evening. There will be lots of good food and cultural
items to explore. Students can feel free to bring their friends. It’s an open
walk-in event for undergrads. (Some students may wish to participate as a
presenter at the event; if so, please register at the link below. Only those
who wish to present should register.) Each visitor will receive a “passport”
that gets stamped when visiting a “country”--each WIC room represents a country
or region--and talk to the presenters. Penn Card required to enter building.
